    VEX Robotics Training Workshop Empowers Agricultural Engineering in Central Luzon State University

    Central Luzon State University (CLSU) recently hosted a two-day VEX Robotics training workshop, in collaboration with the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (Searca), to promote advancements in agricultural engineering and smart farming. The workshop, held on October 23 and 24, 2023, featured the latest innovation in VEX Robotics bundles.

    In this workshop, trainers from Hytec Power Inc. (HPI) demonstrated the cutting-edge capabilities of VEX Robotics bundles. Participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on training, where they built robots that put their engineering and information technology (IT) skills to the test. CLSU faculty members from the IT Department, Engineering Sciences Department, and Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering were joined by experts from the University of the Philippines Los BaƱos to provide guidance and expertise.

    The workshop covered various topics, including mastering VEX motors, utilizing bump sensors for precision, wireless controller usage, creative robot modifications, and programming for the VEX Robot. Participants were able to explore the full range of VEX Robotics sensors and put their knowledge to the test in an exciting robot competition.

    This training workshop not only showcased the latest developments in robotics but also provided an opportunity for participants to further their knowledge and skills in agricultural engineering.
