Hills Robotics, a leading Korean distribution robot company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sari Teknologi, an Indonesian robot company, to expand its business in the Indonesian market. As part of the agreement, Sari Teknologi will serve as a sales channel for Hills Robotics’ range of robots, including warehouse robots, guide robots, museum docent robots, and medical service robots.
Additionally, Sari Teknologi has announced its commitment to support the supply of Hills Robotics’ medical service robots to the University Hospital of Gunadarma University in Indonesia. This partnership aims to leverage the affordability and superior quality of Korean robots compared to Japanese robots, showcasing the great potential for collaboration between the two companies.
Through this cooperation agreement, Hills Robotics now has the opportunity to supply its warehouse robot, called Lo-robot, to the Indonesian market. The company plans to export the intelligent distribution robot, which is equipped with the advanced Solomon software, for application in the factory automation and distribution automation system fields in Indonesia.
Hills Robotics, based in Pangyo Techno Valley, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do Province, is not only focused on expanding its business in Indonesia but is also involved in a smart power plant project with Korea Midland Power Company. The project aims to address climate change and other environmental issues effectively. The company has also gained recognition for its innovation, winning the Innovation Award at the CES, an electronic device exhibition in Las Vegas, for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023.
