Intel Ignite Announces First Cohort of Deep Tech Startups in London

Intel Ignite, the accelerator program for early-stage deep tech startups, has revealed the 10 companies that will be part of its newly-launched London cohort. This marks the first cohort in the UK, expanding the reach of Intel Ignite’s global network.

The selected startups will participate in a 12-week program, where founders will receive mentorship and guidance in various areas, including product development, technology, marketing, sales, fundraising, and go-to-market strategies. The program will also prioritize co-founder dynamics, founders’ mental health, and diversity and inclusion practices.

From over 200 applicants, the finalists will have access to a funding pool of $7.6 million from external investors, without any participation fees.

The 10 companies represent a diverse range of deep tech sectors, such as generative AI, machine learning, next-gen computing, robotics, and manufacturing. Some notable startups include Apoha, which provides sensory intelligence for machines, Circuit Mind, an electronics design assistant, and VyperCore, which focuses on accelerating and protecting computer-intensive applications through novel microprocessor design.

Tzahi Weisfeld, Vice President and General Manager of Intel Ignite, expressed excitement about launching the London cohort, which is situated in one of the world’s largest startup markets. Intel Ignite was established in 2019 and has three other hubs in Munich, Boston, and Tel-Aviv. To date, the program has supported 148 companies, helping them raise a total of $1.7 billion in funding.

Deep tech startups interested in joining the next London cohort can submit their applications through the Intel Ignite website.
