Tech innovators showcased their latest advancements in various sectors at the recent Innovation Awards at ShowStoppers® at IFA 2023 in Berlin. The event served as a platform for startups and industry leaders to introduce their innovative products to journalists from around the world.
The winners of the Innovation Awards were announced by analysts from Omdia, a leading global research and advisory group. The awards recognized companies and products that demonstrated ingenuity and innovation in categories such as audio technologies, smart home and robotics, digital health and fitness, home office hardware, and sustainability.
Some of the notable winners include Roku for their Roku TV models that offer a seamless content-centric user experience, Woan Technology for their SwitchBot S10 Ultra Automatic Floor-cleaning robot that is the world’s first to connect to water supply and drainpipes for self-cleaning, and GN Audio GmbH (Jabra) for their Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds that are ruggedized and meet US military standards.
Other winners include Belkin International for their Connect Thunderbolt 4 Core Hub that enhances productivity across multiple devices with a single Thunderbolt connection, and Ambient Photonics for their Ambient PV Cells, which are high-power and low-cost solar PV cells that eliminate the need for disposable batteries.
The judges also awarded Fairphone for their Fairphone 5, a mobile phone with environmentally friendly construction and user-replaceable parts, and Shokz for their OpenFit earbuds that provide a flexible listening experience while allowing users to be aware of their surroundings. Aiper was recognized for their Seagull Pro, a cordless and automated robotic pool cleaner targeting a niche market.
