Camp Fire Central Oregon is pleased to announce that registration is now open for their introductory camp on robotics. The camp, which serves second through sixth graders, provides children with the opportunity to learn about and engage with robotics in a fun and educational environment. This year, the camp will be offered at locations in Bend and Redmond.
In addition to the introductory camp, Camp Fire Central Oregon is also offering spots for their First LEGO League competitive teams in both Bend and Redmond. However, interested participants are advised to register quickly, as spots are filling up fast.
The First LEGO League competitive teams are designed for fourth through seventh graders. These teams require students to work together to design and build a robot using LEGO Mindstorms kits. Participants also research and solve a real-world problem related to the year’s theme, and present their findings to judges in a competition setting.
Camp Fire Central Oregon is committed to providing high-quality educational experiences for young people in the community. The organization believes in the power of hands-on learning and the impact it has on fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The robotics camp and First LEGO League offer students a chance to explore and develop these skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
To register for the introductory camp on robotics or to secure a spot on one of the First LEGO League competitive teams, interested individuals can visit the Camp Fire Central Oregon website or contact Camp Fire officials directly. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn and have fun with robotics!
